Looking back at the last...

Looking back at the last gendarme of the SW-ridge. In the back are Monte Rosa, Breithorn and Alphubel and in the valley you can see Saas Fee. Nice climb and very interesting conditions in snowy july 2000.

where is this picture taken?

it cannot be at NW ridge, because there is almost pure glacier. I guess it is the upper part of the uncommon SW ridge route!
