That's a lot of snow for August!Man, that's a lot of snow! Here in Colorado you'd have to work pretty hard to find a snow drift in August. Is all that snow left over from the winter, or does it snow there in August?

Re: That's a lot of snow for August!It does snow here in August but this is what was left from a heavy snow year. There have been some summers (not many) when the upper enchantment lakes remained pretty much frozen. Normally in august you have bare ground in this area though.
