Looking down Hourglass...

Looking down Hourglass Couloir after summiting Mt Dade and the clouds have rolled in; only moments before rain begins and it's boot glissade time. My entry was from the west (on the left in photo) of the most southern Treasure Lake but my exit was a speedy scramble on the eastern side (on the right in photo); I couldn't take that scree any longer. Snow held up nicely but I did NOT cross the frozen lake. 13 Aug 05
