Looking North From the Ridge

The ridge runs west from the summit, then near her turns more to the north. It is tempting to leave the trail just beyond the brown hump at right-center and follow the ridge on the other side. But eventually rocks like these and worse form the entire ridge before getting to the summit. Stay in the north bowl and avoid the ridge. August 2008
