Re: Gotta visit...Yes, that's very much true! I saw a picture a couple of years ago and had to go there, too.
Just ensure to get an internet permit in advance. We were lucky to get a walk-in permit for the following day already during our 2nd attempt. Every day only 20 people are allowed to enter (10 permits via internet, 10 walk-in permits, where you have to be at the BLM Paria Contact Station the day before to attend the daily lottery).
