LookoutThis was a peak I always wanted to do, but I was never able to find the time. I was the 100" Hooker Telescope operator at Mt. Wilson Observatory from 1979 till Feb. 1982. Mt. Wilson was the originating point for the light beam; Lookout Mountain was the location of the reflecting device for the Michelson-Morley speed of light experiment--not Mt. Baldy. How was the condition of the route up the peak when you did it? Best, Michael

Re: LookoutDid this hike about a year and a half ago and the trail was pretty easy to follow. The hardest part was finding the use trail at the beginning. CJ
