Good page Jean-Louis. I'm wondering where the mountain actually is. I suppose it can be attached to one of the Pennine Alps Groups. Anyway, the views look like it is not too far from the Pointe de Drône or the Col de Gd. St. Bernard.

Thank you for your vote !

Luisin is not very near from Pointe de Drone or Saint Bernard Collar and is not in the Pennine Alps. Luisin is near of Tour Sallière and Dents du Midi and faces on the other side of the valley the Mont Blanc massif (Aiguille du Tour, Aiguille Purtscheller). The complex mountains near Dents du Midi, located between Chablais in the N and Mont Blanc in the S have no group name. The french side is called Faucigny but this name cannot be given to the Swiss side. In the Swiss books, this reagion is caled "French-Swiss border".

Looks fun. My wife and I plan to do the Haute Route sometime. Do you know much about it?

Fine page! A bit short, but everything essential is there.
