Luna Summit Spine I

When you get to the false summit and first set eyes on the crest leading to the true summit you'll pee in your pants. But then you'll see all that micturating was for nothing, for it's not that hard, really. There's some crab walking through notches and a short traverse on ledges on the southeast side, but it's never really harder than an exposed Class 3. For me, I had extra incentive to get 'er done: my helmet and the rocks around were me were slightly buzzing (sounded like styrofoam being rubbed) due to electric fields in the air. Never saw lightning, fortunately. July 4, 2006.
