Lupine in the Forest

Lupine in the Forest

Palmer Lupine- Lupinus palmeri - Pea Family. What a display we had this year of this larger species of Lupine. Kind of makes you want to kick up your heels and dance a lick, doesn't it? This is growing in the Prescott National Forest, near a section of private land known as Church Meadows. To the east (out of the picture) is the summit of Mingus Mountain. Photo taken by lcarreau in central Arizona. August 21, 2008

Re: OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

No problema, but I'm depressed that summer's
almost gone. I'm going to miss the 100-degree
temperatures in the Verde Valley. -Larry
