Lyon Mountain (NY) Fire Lookout

The Fire Lookout Tower on top of Lyon Mountain, NY, at 3820 feet this mountain stands alone. The Fire Lookout is 35 feet high and dates back to the early 1900's. This was taken on a very COLD day, 1/17/05, the air temperature was below -20 and the winds were 30-50 MPH, making windchill around -60 degrees F!
