A beautiful shot

Thanks for letting us enjoy this picture, Aleksandar. It proves that mountains are always enjoyable, altitude is not the only thing to be considered! :-)

Thanks Enrique! That is the undisputed true; I can say that Velebit, for example, is much more beautiful than many 'high' mountains. But when people decide what to visit, in most cases, altitude is primary attraction. I've been on Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa, for example, and I can say that Velebit is so much wilder while up there is like being in New York or Paris on 4000+ meters :-)

Wonderful II

When I was a child, I had a certain imagination of the landscape "behind" the mountains. The sun and the fog of the landscape behind increase this imagination in direction of a "better world". I think that this is one part of the fascination of this picture for me.
