After climbing the high point of the Eugene range earlier in the day, three of us, Brett Hathaway, Al Sandorf and myself made our way to this seldom visited mountain. Brett had studied the maps and google earth and thought he had found a great route that was a bit shorter and less elevation gain than what we already knew from Brad and Dennis's peakbagger trip reports. It really helped to have the ability to get close since Brad and I had to drive 7 hours home afterwards. Brad nailed it, it worked like a charm and that is why I've shared our finding via this summitpost page. Once you get to the base of the mountain, the hike is pretty easy. Great views.
