Nice narrative. I especially liked your description of the benches above Little Harrison. On our trip, there was too much snow higher up so we were lower down the crest than that. I'd wondered what those benches held. We did the lower traverse a few years ago..we traversed the left side of the lake up to the cirque then stayed to the east side of the crest, following talus and meadows over to Little Harrison (what a gem!). From there, we climbed the 4th class ridge to Upper Beehive Lake and followed the trail back dowm the the road. I love that area and hope to get back this year for the high traverse up The Beehive, along the ridge then finishing off with Harrison Peak.
