Map of Fifty Classic Climbs of North America by Roper and Steck
Steve Roper and Allen Steck published Fifty Classic Climbs of North America in 1979 with Sierra Club Books.
The first measure of a book is beauty, and this book is beautiful: the choice of routes, the descriptions and stories, the photos, the layout, the handdrawn maps.
I've made a web map of the climbs in the book. (Depending on your browser you may need to zoom out to see Northern Canada and Alaska.) Each red mountain symbol below shows displays the basic information for that climb and links to the Wikipedia page for the mountain and route.
