Maple Springs

This is maple springs campground at 4600 feet. These are rare pacific pine trees that the santa ana mountains contain. Maple springs is just to the northeast of santiago peak, adjacent to Modjeska peak off of the main divide road. A very beautiful place to visit. May 20, 2006

Pretty spot...

...but I have a feeling those rare "Pacific pines' could be of the Coulter or Jeffrey variety. Just a thought. Nice gallery, man.
