Marmot at the base of the Ships Prow. This chubby bubby followed us all the way to the summit. We had considered leaving our packs at the base of the Staircase, but in the end, we carried them to the top. Good thing we did, because a couple of his friends chewed up the handles of my trekking poles. July 2, 2011
