Fun little side exploration
The varied scenery (near and far) and invigorating scramble the last few feet to the top made this a fantastic end to a day's adventures in Joshua Tree. This route seemed to attract two groups of people on a weekday: Gen Z couples and retired couples.

Hiked the Loop
Hiked up via the LPOT and hiked back via the Mastodon Peak Trail - makes for a nice 3 mile loop
