Mount Saint Helens blew on May 18th, 1980. I got clean & sober 10 years later on May 18th, 1990 just by coincidence. I have always had a special place in my heart for Saint Helens because of this in a weird sort of way. Thanks to summitpost.org & the summit of Goat Mountain I got very close to her as you can see.
