First time on the route and we all enjoyed it. We left camp at 3:08 and by 6:30 had reached Pikers Peak. Lower section had more crevasses than I was expecting. We climbed carefully and enjoyed a great route and summit.

Good Route
We enjoyed heading up this route as an alternative to the main route
This is a great way of getting to the top of Mt Adams. We slept at lunch counter and then went directly over to Mazama Glacier. After a right traverse under a large rock formation we went up somewhat steep slopes over an area that looks like a small headwall. We continued on to the Mazama Headwall which is directly above where the South Klickitat and Mazama glaciers meet. One short steep 60 foot section and we topped out slightly higher than the false summit.
