I think...the mountain in the back is Red Slate Mountain.

Re: I think...I've been in that canyon last year and I am pretty sure this peak is an unnamed peak (about 11,890') southeast of Mount Baldwin. Red Slate cannot be seen from the spot I think you were there.

Re: I think...I thought the sign/plaque by HWY 395 showed this as Red Slate, but I can't be sure. Well, this may be a good excuse for me to go back and look again.
