Meru

Meru (6660 m ) is one of the most sacred mountains of the Himalaya, either for the buddists or for the hindus. It is believed to be the center of the universe. It is also one of the most difficult summits to climb, and in particular the central pillar ( known as the "shark's fin" ) is well known as one of the toughest and extreme challenges on earth.
