Mesa Arch – A Different Take

Normally Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, UT is photographed looking through the arch at nearby Washerwoman Arch and Airport (such as this beautiful image by Brent D). This is a slightly different angle of this popular destination after a short hike (0.5 mile loop). The mountains in the background are the La Sals. Monster Tower is seen near the middle of the arch. The base of Washer Woman Arch is barely visible at the left of the opening. Imaged in May 2010.
