I ended the hike on the saddle between South Peak and Bear Peak due to time constraints. I can't wait to come back

Bear and South Boulder
Great Independence Day hike. Once we reached Shadow Canyon around 2:30 in the afternoon we hardly saw anyone.

Nice last minute hike
It's a great route for when you don't have anything else planned. It's short, but still has a nice elevation gain

Burning off the Thanksgiving dinner
Beautiful day. Sunny skies, a light breeze, and temperatures in the low 40s. No snow at the trailhead, but as we headed up we came across more of the snow that fell earlier in the week, but not so much to worry about. Awesome views from the rocky, but snowy, summit.

One of my favorites...... in the Boulder area.
A great uphill tempo workout. Car to saddle is just under an hour for me, with about 2500' of gain.. a perfect long uphill tempo session after work.
