Mine shaft at 13,200 ft on Treasury Mountain, Colorado.

Ray in front of a very high mine. Hey lets climb to 13,200 feet and then descend into a hole in the ground. This mine complex has left me deeply impressed with the fortitude of the early miners. Can you imagine the monsoon season with its thunderstorms and this as your refuge? Nevermind that this entire slop is broken scree and talus that wants desperately to slide, in a mass wasting episode. Colorado, Raggeds Wilderness. Jon
