Mineral Creek Trail

The Mineral Creek Trail is severely overgrown! Starting after the stream crossing two miles from the trailhead, almost all the way to Park Lakes, this is the view that you will have for a good portion of the time. Occasionally you will break out of this and the trail opens up for a short stretch, only to find you are quickly right back in it. I hiked the trail in the morning and the brush was wet and my shorts were completely soaked from the dew. Alpine Lakes Wilderness August 31, 2013
