Minor Glacier

Minor Glacier

Just steep enough to be an issue. Roped up, used lightweight crampons, no need for more. Crossed bottom of glacier chasing clouds on the way, this would be the the case all the way up. Dad in front, Conor, to catch my ass, in back. Traverse bottom of Minor Glacier from center where stream starts to 'flat' talus slope heading up into couloir climbers left, north end of Gannett. Older reports noted right thumb of glacier extending up this flat talus slope, glacier is now melted back to small rock ridge, bear climbers left at this ridge up talus slope. Serious rock hoping, getting steep as you get into couloir
