as someone who at the time knew only Colorado ratings I remember being ambushed by that section on Muir too...I think I know the exact scoot/traverse left before reaching the summit block. Great TR!
This looked like a great trip. Your pictures are all really nice. Thanks for being a great outdoorsman and doing other people's "dirty work." You certainly didn't have to clean up their mess, but you definitely made the trip that much better for who every the next group of campers might have been.

Re: MuirThanks. That little traverse isn't hard, but the penalty points are really high. I wish I had brought better shoes, and helmets!
In Colorado, it would be considered exposed 4th class for sure.
