Yes, I believe so...I was told the location/description from some people I met at Big Walker Lookout, beforehand... and even shown a general map of the spot being right after the "Overlook" sign. There certainly isn't a bigger single rock that the trail immediately passes by, although some rocky slopes are certainly present.

Re: Yes, I believe so...Oh, yeah, that's certainly the biggest rock on the trail itself. But it's puny compared to some in that huge boulderfield to the right as you're hiking toward that spot.
But I reckon it does make sense that Monster Rock would be directly on the trail.
