Impressive peakImpressive peak and good shot Vid. It somehow reminds me of Pizzo di Caro: Just 2727m high, but rising 2500 meters above the valley floor (Valle Leventina, Ticino)

Re: Impressive peakInteresting comparison, Lodewijk! Yes, in Ticino some altitude differences are very big as well. But mountains are made of granite, while here they are made of the main dolomite (dolomia principale) and dachstein limestone.
