Monument Peak
I started at the Stagecoach/TRT trailhead on Kingsbury Grade at 7400ft. Beautiful morning hike up to Monument Peak and onto East Peak, fairly easy hike but a bit of elevation gain to consider if you are a flatlander. There is a service road you can follow up most of the way!

From Stagecoach
Afternoon hike up from Stagecoach in Nevada, visited Monument then over to East Peak. Followed a service road for most of the way up, took the ski runs back down. Very deep snow with hip deep postholing in some areas, completely bare in other spots. Ski runs closed for the season, didn't see anyone else all day. TR is HERE.

From Stagecoach
Hiked over from East Peak. No one around except a member of the maintenance crew on a OHV. Spotted a bear going through garbage near the parking lot at Stagecoach.

From 4800 feet
Decided to give this one a real go but didn't want to be walking under any ski lifts. Started at 4800 feet at the park and ride at the intersection of Foothill and Highway 207. Headed straight up from there (after scurrying through a few yards). Hit snowline at 7000 feet. Very nice day.

From Stagecoach w/ East
Had the place to myself this summer afternoon aside from 1-2 maintenance trucks that rolled by.
Started at the Stagecoach/TRT trailhead on Kingsbury Grade at 7400ft.
Tagged Monument first and then swung over to East on my descent.

Nice Peak, Crappy Slopes
Opted for a brief side trip to the summit while ridin' Heavenly. The peak/summit was much nicer than the runs at Heavenly, good views of the Lake, Desolation, Carson Pass area, etc... Given the quality, or lack there of, of the runs for the outrageous price I will never go back there ever again. If you are a boarder, unless you like to kick yourself around all damn day, avoid Heavenly like the plague! There are far too many other good resort options to settle for this one.
