Hike to the Toe of the Athabasca Glacier Click twice to get a full grasp of the size and depth of the snow you are looking at across the stream. This is a huge moraine! Three guys have hiked down beyond the trail boundaries to admire the glacial melt up close. One walked even closer to the stream, fell in and got wet! September 12, 2011
