Mormon Peak from the NW

Mormon Peak from the NW

This is a rarely seen view of the Mormon Mountains taken from Hackberry Canyon 10 miles northwest of the peak. The Mormon Peak highpoint (North Mormon Benchmark) is just right of center. Just left of center is the "Shark's Tooth."

Hey Tracy ...

Is this the one you can see north of Moapa,
while travlin' the freeway through Mesquite??

How's your leg comin' along? Take care ...

Re: Hey Tracy ...

Good to hear from you Larry! Mormon Peak is north of Moapa Peak which is north of the Moapa Valley Exit on I-15. If you are closer to Mesquite, Mt. Davidson is a prominent peak that is visible north of I-15 and is east of Moapa Peak.

The leg is healing up great - thanks for asking. I'd like to try it out on Mormon Peak :)
