Morning Glory?

June wildflower. I have never identified this one. If you know it, please tell. It looks like a type of Morning Glory, but it was blooming in the late afternoon. Shenandoah National Park, VA

That's what I've always suspected, but I've never seen a solid ID. I sometimes wonder if it's a domestic plant someone planted or accidentally spread here. I've seen it in only a few spots.

It was low to the ground, defintitely not a tree. It was 8 years ago, but I think it was a low, leafy bush or a vine, probably a vine.
