yes, it's a natural lake, the water comes from 2 streams, Czarnostawianski Potok and Mnichowy Potok, which forms Dwoista Siklawe. in the past it was called Fish Lake or Fish Pond, becouse of many naturally (still) living trouts there .

Good for dipping?

I'd like to throw my body into this body of
water, and see how fast my body moves toward
the warm, fluffy towel waiting upon the shore.

I am afraid, if you would throw just your toe finger into this pond, you would pay a fine... but you can always put a fluffly towel upon the shore and admire the view sitting there. cheers;)
