My coterie of friends didn't feel like exploring this as thoroughly as I would have. Turned around at the first large dry fall.

Death Valley Trip
Heather and I spent one evening exploring this canyon. I was curious about possible routes up Tucki Mountain, but eventually we climbed it by a different route.
As part of a 6 day trip, we also climbed Eagle Mountain, Beatty Mountain, Bonanza Mountain, Sutherland Mountain, Rainbow Mountain, Black Peak, Thimble Peak, Manly Beacon, Golden Canyon Peak, Jubilee Mountain, Pyramid Peak and Corkscrew Peak. We explored Rhylite Ghost Town, Leadfeild Ghost Town, Titus Canyon, Golden Canyon, Sidewinder Canyon, 20 Mule Canyon, Badwater, and the Mesquite Dunes.
My kids love using the polished rock like a slide and playing with the gravel. I like scrambling around and taking in the scenery. A must stop every trip to DVNP.

The High and the Low
Carl and I hiked this canyon two days after we climbed Mt Whitney. We hiked in single digit temperatures on Whitney and a day later we were shorts and t-shirts hiding from the sun in this beautiful canyon.

Mosaic Canyon
Fun canyon. There was a route that climbs to the left of the dryfall where most people turn around. We found more diffcult dryfalls later. They could be bypassed by hiking higher above the canyon.

Marvelous canyon
Gorgeous canyon and a treasure-chest for aspiring geologists. Hiked up to the main amphitheater and further beyond the boulders blocking the way. We also climbed a fun 25 foot wall (dried waterfall?) which then opened up into another wide bowl. There was a seemingly impassable headwall several hundred feet high at the end of that bowl. Overall, highly recommended.
spent the better part of 2 days hiking in the canyon and scrambling in the area. good times, and great weather.

Highlight of Death Valley
Being my 1st time in the park, the canyon was the best thing I did during my short visit. Took a few spur trails leading above the canyon floor and into smaller side canyons.

slide smooth canyon walls
been here several times, the marble-ish canyon walls are smooth enough to slide down in places. fun.
My wife and I hiked through here on our way to a cold and snowy night up in the Panamints. There was nice afternoon light here, and the smooth marble was very pretty to study.

A Beautiful Place
It rained the night before I was in Mosaic Canyon. The air was cool and the potholes were full of water.
