Mosaic of the Easton glacier...

Mosaic of the Easton glacier in June, 2001, from just below and east of the Railroad Grade. The rounded summit plateau is brushed with fast-moving clouds. The sharp point of Sherman Peak is further to the right. The well-beaten route (shown in red) traversed the ice fall (central upper left) to Sherman crater (the central low point on the skyline), and then climbed up the right side of the Roman Wall. The track was thoroughly marked with wands. See the following photo for a version un-marred by the red annotation...)
