Snowshoe Trip
Made a quick trip on 4-wheelers to Camp Misery then up the jeep trail for a while. Then an ascending traverse past the snow-tell station and up to the ridge above. There are a number of cornises along the ridge overlooking Picnic Basin. Great day with great friends.
Great BC skiing if you have a sled or 6 miles of uphill stamina

Mt. Aeneas
Hiked with Rebelgrizz and JFK. Great views of glacier peaks and Flathead Valley.

Late summer
Did Aeneas as a part of a 3 day backpacking trip with my boys, ages 4 and 6. Came up from Birch Lake via the trails. Lots of goat action at the summit. GPS showed .25 miles from summit to camp (vs. 3 miles by trail), so we attempted Aeneas direct Birch Lake via the southeast ridge on the way down. Abandoned that idea quickly as it wasn't good terrain for a 4 year old.
