Excellent page, thorough, with lots of info.
This page is great! I'm moving out to Washington next month and this makes it sound like something I could possibly climb.
Please add some information about refuges in the area. Gracias.
By refuge do you mean permanant shelter? If so, the only one I am aware of is the Shulman cabin (see photo). The photo was taken in 1969. Does anyone know if it still exists, or why there are so damn few shelters in the Cascades?! Suerte, Scott
I meant huts, guarded or non-guarded. Clear the "Miscellaneous Info" section if it's going to be empty, you'll always have the chance of adding sections.
Suerte Thanks Scott, you too.

Nice job- descriptive, informative, & well written (good spelling & grammar- not always a given, it seems!)!
Two thumbs way up. Nice page.
Great effort on an important peak.

Thanks for the reminder to change up the feature photo. Check out the new one -- alpenglow on the east face from Shuksan.
A very nice page!
Nice page, lots of information.
I grew up in Bellingham, and could see from our living room window Mt. Baker poking up behind a forested ridge. Mt Baker is also where I learned to ski. Great page, lots of nice photos of this beautiful creation.
