I never reached the pointof 'missing' the San Gabriels, but I'm glad to
see there's always another set of mountains to
climb and explore. Awesome capture of these
five peaks! Along with the High Sierras, these
peaks offered an imposing barrier to pioneers
and geologists alike! Great composition, Guido!

Re: I never reached the pointThanks for the nice words. Although far lower and less expansive than the High Sierra, there are enough peaks, canyons, streams in this mountain range to explore, some of them in remote wilderness areas, for many, many years. The vicinity to LA is certainly one of the major attraction of these mountains. I would not want to miss them. It is a wonderful contrast to the city. Cheers, Guido
