Hit the summit of Blackmore at Sunrise via the NE Ridge then skied the east face. Went over to the East shoulder of Alex Lowe, made 3 laps there then hit the summit of Blackmore again via the SE ramp and skied the east face to the parking lot. Beautiful day.

Great early summer skiing down the north face
We used to ski Mt Blackmore north face and the Elephant Head dog leg every 4th of July. These days maybe go a few weeks earlier.
Two entrances into Blackmore snowfield, east and west. The east is the safest and easiest. The west entrance is steeper and less forgiving. Ski all the way down to the lake. Hike back up of course. The Elephant Head dog leg snowfield becomes very narrow as the snow melt back, so be ready for some tight turns. The snowfield between the two peaks is easy very nice skiing. One time skied a good dozen turns below the snow across the wet grass. Water content was perfect that day.
Be ready for lightning. Even down at the bottom of the bowl on way back to trailhead our skis were humming loudly.
Blaze Mtn in the Gallatin Range is another great summer ski. Long day hike from east trailhead. Skied Aug2 with an inch of new snow. I counted over 120 turns and you cannot see the shallow upper slope at the top of the run. Bugs biting even at the summit.

Great Ski
I had a free afternoon and decided to explore the Hyalite area a bit. Ended up skiing this mountain and had a great time both on the ascent and descent!

Stupendous
A long trail but not too strenuous. After breaking out of the forest we were surrounded by wildflowers. Despite a lone thunderstorm to the East we had great views. Mountains in all directions.

Simple enough of a trail, really cool views from the top especially if there's enough snow. Its like an ocean of mountains.

Standard Route
Solo from TH near Hyalite Reservoir. Great hike. Nothing complicated, unless forked trails near the beginning trip you up. Rained when I got to the summit.

Snow is closing in
Trail is starting to get pretty icy, microspikes or crampons probably a good idea until spring!
Cool area, totally overrun by tourists and unprepared locals (sorry, but hiking in shorts and t-shirts with a fanny pack for water just isn't prepared enough in high elevation). 10mi roundtrip, a couple fun glissades on the way out
