Why you should carry bear spray... Yes indeed. I always thought late summer was the time of plenty for the bears over there. There must be food all over the place. On the other hand a lamb is food for them too.
From that point of view - and only from that one - I'm happy we don't have grizzlies and mountain lions over here.
