1. A dance involving a rhythmical, heavy step.
Hiked Chiquita & Ypsilon (Skipped Chapin because storms were coming in). Had the summits to myself, excepting marmots.
Great views on this hike.
We were on top by 7:00 am and got hit by a hailstorm. In early August. But it's a nice, easy 13er.
A warband of marmots will agressively besiege you and your food on this summit.
Nice views and lots of marmots near the summit
I climbed Mount Chiquita from Chapin Pass after climbing Mount Chapin. Continued to Mount Ypsilon. Mount Chiquita is the most crowded summit of the trilogy.
This was the second of three summits for the day. Headed over to Ypsilon for the trifecta.
2nd peak of the CCY trek. Nice broad summit with terrific views all around.
Nice to have such a popular hike all to one's self. Good early morning weather.
Hiked up Chapin, Chiquita and Ypsilon. Beautiful day. Still some snow on the ground, but not enough to be much of a problem. Started and finished at the Chapin Pass trailhead.
Climbed Chiquita from Chapin Pass trailhead on a cold and blustery day with my brother. We planned on doing Ypsilon as well, but I just didn't have Ypsilon in me especially since I was recovering from surgery only a week before.
Groovin on up!
With Eric Holle. Nice summit with good views. IN THE GROOVE! After Chapin then off to Ypsilon.
Almost got lost in the clouds on the descent. Good warm-up scramble.
a very easy 13er
