Mount Fryxell-- Short Class 5 Area

In this area on the ridge to the right of the permanent snowfield on the peak, you will run into a spot or two that falls into Class 5. The moves are so short that they could arguably be Class 4, but they'll feel harder. One small chimney I had to climb required dropping my pack and pulling it up behind me. If you don't like it here, go back down a little bit and move right onto easier terrain. You can also step out onto the snowfield-- not recommended without an ice axe, though (too steep).
