Thanks Jon, hey, I have some unfinished business on Mount Gunnison. I want to go back and do it again next year. Let's plan on it; dogs and all. Hey at least i have done all the unglamerous work of trying to find the Hoodoo Creek Trail. I know where it is! Maybe next year we can get some water in Beaver Reservoir! They were working on a broken valve and had drained the sucker. Plus, we need better weather. There was this weird weather system that scooted through the region and really messed up the visibility. Need better summit shots.
Mount Guero was better! Going back there too, need Coal Mountain, Smith Fork Mountain and Sheep Mountain.
Thanks for the nice words. There's a lot of mountains in Colorado and finding pretty ones that nobody knows about is what i like to do. Stay tuned, I have many more to submit. Hopefully ya'll like em.
Now how's that an improvement, brenta? I think there's an 's' missing in there somewhere :-D Just poking fun. Really, I can't believe I caught you making a typo!
Actually, Kane, is unmissable what you meant? "adj. -1. Said of a TV program, film, etc: too good to be missed." Or did you mean more along the lines of it being impossible to miss from that vantage?
Lord, you two are good. That's the one word i pulled from a thesaurus. I was looking for another word for "prominent." I didn't want to use "prominent" because I had used it on two other occasions. "Unmissable" showed up in the thesaurus, however, my spell checker didn't like the word, but I kept it anyways.
being impossible to miss from that vantage?
Yep, that's how i wanted that word to read. There's probably a better word, any ideas?

Untitled CommentThanks Britt, glad you like those aspen shots. That's why I plan West Elk trips a year in advance, to get shots like these.

Colonelpyat - Oct 11, 2005 1:40 am - Voted 10/10
Untitled CommentNo cows down there but the Indians who live in the canyon have tons of horses and dogs.
