Short and clear, as the mountain seems to require.

Why the 3 star vote? I'm curious as to what more needs to be added to this page to improve it?

Thanks,

Sisyphus,

Do not get offended. I am very demanding person, even with myself !!! Do not tell to anybody but I would not give a four stars vote to my own page!!! ;-) I think that the four stars system of SP is, in general, a little bit used in a 'happy' or 'easy' way, sometimes superficial: "I like this page! Ok, yes. 4 stars!!! I do not like it. I do not vote it".

I think that we see too many "4 stars" mountain pages. Maybe it is time to start a 5 stars rating to be able to judge more accurately. I just was judging a page of Johan Heersink (the Kingata Tagh mountain page) as, definitely a '5 stars' page in a message send to him.If I compare my page with his, mine is definitely just a 3!!!

I like your page of Mount Helen very much (and I have been reading it with interest). Nice maps and worked route-sketches. Also nice links to neighbour ranges and peaks, but I would have liked a little bit more detail over the Father Dyer's rock ridge. Useful links to other souces of information...I would say your pagina is a 3 and a half (or a 'four' in a five stars ranking) and mine is a 2... :-)

I hope, anyway, to go sometimes to the Rockies and then, when I climb Mount Hellen I will think of you.

Greetings

Well, I'm not offended, but I just don't understand what you mean. If you see it as a 3 star page, then you should have a list of improvements that need to be made. What would I have to add to make it 4 stars for you?

16 other long-time members voted 4 stars on the page. You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but it seems like you're in the minority with your vote.
