Fun, Fairly direct  Sucess!

A possible option (subject to Watershed rules): after dropping down from the McClellan Butte switchback to the saddle, is to stroll the logging road to the west of 4684, leaving the road when close to Alice Lakes. This route leads to a natural west to east approach, between upper and lower Alice Lakes, to the west face talus slopes of Kent. Easy strolling, little bush.

Decent for the I-90 Range  Sucess!

I thought this was a pretty decent peak for it being in the I-90 area. Had a nice day out.

Tougher Than I Expected  Sucess!

I got off work early so I thought I'd give Kent a try. The bushwhacking tore my pants, whipped my eyes, and stole things out of my pockets. The loose talus caused me to bend a trekking pole. 3 hours up 2 down.

Great views  Sucess!

From the McClellan Butte trail. Combined with McCellan Butte. A lot of effort but the summit was well worth it!!

More Than I Bargained For!!!  Sucess!

This mountain is not for amateur hikers. Caution and careful traversing is necessary during many portions of the mountain. However, reaching the summit made all the effort worthwhile. Great weather, but even better views.
