A suggestion...

Have you considered making a Carson Range page? I think it certainly warrants one...

Re: A suggestion

Good point. I could possibly do that. I think the Carson Range basically extends from Freel Peak all the way to the northern edge of the Mount Rose Wilderness, right? Doesn't it cover all the mountains on the east side of Lake Tahoe? I probably want to explore it a little more (even though I have a hiked a lot of summits there). I plans this summer to explore more. But, I don't see myself putting a page up any time soon. I am focused on mountains east of Reno right now.

Re: A suggestion

I just saw this comment, so sorry about taking a year to respond to your points. To conclude, the USGS topos show the Carson Range extending all the way to Verdi and it includes Mt. Rose. I still maintain you could do a fantastic page for this area.

Re: A suggestion

Thanks Bubba,

Although I am not sure it is necessary, in part because we already have the Lake Tahoe Basin and the Mount Rose Wilderness. I might have time to do this soon. I will look into it over the weekend.

Re: A suggestion

Bubba,

Basically completed a Carson Range page. Probably more proofreading that I can do, but here it is: http://www.summitpost.org/carson-range/712600

Re: Before I clicked on the page

When I saw the area I figured you covered that area a lot so it must be you and sure enough i guessed right.

Re: Before I clicked on the page

Absolutely, I have. But I still haven't ventured up to Hunter Lake, which is deep, deep, deep, in the heart of the Wilderness. Of course, you can drive there with a good high clearance vehicle. Although it takes awhile.
