Ahead of the storm
Ken Jones and I visited the summit and just beat a storm that hit after we got off the mountain. We had some snow falling during our time on the summit but our biggest concern was the thunderstorms that were forecast for the area. The Barrick Gold operation dominates the area but we were able to get permission to use their summit road.
