N Ridge  Sucess!

I found the move prior to the downclimb of the gendarme mentioned in the N Ridge route page to be scary! (I actually didn't do it on the way over (found an alternative), but did on the way back.) Fun scramble in a cool area.

North ridge from Lamarck Col  Sucess!

For the Sierra Challenge. A fun scramble from Lamarck Col, about 3h from the trailhead. Trip report

Random peak  Sucess!

Some ridge exploration and wasting time led me to the summit of this peak-pretty cool scramble, and cliffy eastern face when looking over the ridge. Went on for Mendel afterward.

N. Ridge  Sucess!

Enjoyable scramble with plenty of class 3 on good rock. Definitely worth doing. 1 page summit register appropriately enough is the back side of a Bob Burd TR.

North Ridge  Sucess!

Nice late 9AM start and fun scramble to Tom's summit before sleeping Spartan-style in Darwin Canyon. Really enjoyed the rock quality and being led by the nose by my gentleman. :)

Via The North Ridge  Sucess!

Climbed this peak to "comfort the pain" of not going for 'The Hermit' during the 2007 Sierra Challenge (the "squirts" and stomach issues kept me from my original appointed destination). However, I was not disappointed with what Tom Ross's North Ridge (3rd class) had to offer....fun exposure, super solid rock on sustained 3rd class, and a cool summit block. Climbed with Mike Sash. We found no register but made one of our own to suppliment the summit. Car-to-car: 7hr 50min
