Great image!Makes me really want to go there!
But when just 8,000 feet is giving me symptoms of altitude sickness, I have a lot of training to do first! Thanks for helping to keep me inspired.

The thing that has always worked for me dealing with altitude is staying well hydrated with electrolytes. There is also a saying for high altitude climbers that goes like this "sleep low, climb high."
